Job Description:
Repairs product line equipment according to Company standards.
Performs daily maintenance on all auxiliary items of equipment.
Conducts preventive maintenance and lubrication on all Company equipment.
Performs main component changes on engines, pumps, transmission, etc.
Develops skills on basic electrical and hydraulic systems and operation of main and auxiliary
equipment for maintenance purposes.
Completes DOT inspection and auxiliary reports after unit inspection is completed.
Must have own hand tools and power tools.
Minimum 5 years’ experience (Or trade school Graduate).
Troubleshooting electronic controls for various equipment.
Rebuilding engines and transmissions.

Assist the Field Service Manager in providing day to day customer service to customer inquiries regarding equipment. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. HVAC Technician Certification, Basic Electrical Technician Certification, or Rigging Certification are a plus.

The overall responsibility of the Materials Tech III is to coordinate and assist with the daily inventory management and control of procedural area supplies. Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Additionally, this role includes the use of analytic tools to accurately capture spend and utilization data (Lawson, Epic, Excel) in support of inventory control and management.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides supply management for OR/Specialty area through maintaining, monitoring, adjusting, and supply replenishment of inventory areas, processing requisitions, tracking/expediting of orders, and managing new product requests and conversions.
• Assists with the research and implementation of opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce cost. Evaluates and adjusts par levels for cost effective par. Manages expired and obsolete inventory.
• Responsible for conducting regular inventory cycle counts.
• Regularly maintains and updates order guides/par areas, organizes store rooms and updates labeling systems to ensure efficient ordering and inventory processes.
• Manages procedural area vendors, ensuring they are in compliance with policies, procedures, and appropriate credentials through the VendorMate credentialing system.
• Effectively works with corporate for item add/activations, contract issues, and Epic item integrity.
• Processes non-stock order requisitions accurately and timely. Follows up as needed; works effectively with purchasing.
• Reviews procedural area schedule for future cases that may require special needs, such as implants, supplies, etc.
• Participates effectively in inventory process, including pre-inventory work, actual inventory, and post-inventory work. Assists management with variance analysis.
• Follows processes and procedures for new item requests and opportunities at facility.
• Facilitates and coordinates with peers and clinical staff for product trials and conversions. Drives approved conversions to completion. Updates order guides and ensures clinical staff has completed preference card updates
• Works with designated procedural staff to ensure supply integrity is available and updated in the Epic EHR system
• Responsible for the coordination or collaboration in the tissue tracking system, as agreed upon by the individual facility, market, or enterprise
• Coordinates repair of equipment with Instrument Technicians, Vendors, and Biomedical representatives, where applicable.
• Facilitates the development of materials management strategies on the unit
• Actively participates in meeting and/or exceeding departmental and individual goals
• Oversees recall notifications and takes action when required. Sends information on any affected inventory to procurement to process returns, where applicable.
• Monitors and tracks clinical staff to adhere to materials management policies regarding proper utilization of approved supplies, the inventory system, and the accuracy of products used.
• Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested. Acting as the primary resource and support for the clinical colleagues in procedural/specialty areas.
• Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. Works as a liaison for procedural area staff, directors/managers, physicians, and vendor reps to facilitate flow of information and follow through of tasks, actively seeking out clarifying information and pursuing communication contacts as needed.
Work Experience:

Ability to demonstrate a basic to intermediate knowledge level of numeric controls, specialized tooling, and other CNC Machining technology

Experience in performing setups, tool changes, and finished parts inspection using various precision measurement tools
Ability to demonstrate a basic level of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and be willing and able to learn other company software programs as needed.

This position does not currently utilize a sub-arc welder so the applicant will need to be able to maneuver the workpiece and themselves to complete the job.
This position requires attention to detail and a thoroughness that will prevent dimensional defects or leaks in the testing phase.
Pay is based on experience and skill, but would generally start in the $20-25/hr. range.

Must be able to function effectively in a team-based environment, maintain a clean work are, maintain HSE compliance standards including proper utilization of all required PPE and adherence to related safety procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Specialized welding training and/or 8+ years of related welding experience with a demonstrated skill proficiency at an advanced level, or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and skill proficiency. • Must be skilled in at least 3 of the following processes GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW and saw. • Must pass a 3g plate test in Mig/Fluxcore. • Must pass a 6g all Tig with a 1/2“ schedule 160 pipe. • Must consistently demonstrate code quality. Must be proficient in the following codes: API, B313, UW51, UW52, B1.1, STS, etc. • Must possess a mechanical aptitude, and be able use various measuring equipment. • Must be able to use positioners and pinwheels. • Must have demonstrated experience with set up, layout, blueprint reading, weld symbols, and joint configuration. • Must be familiar with mismatch tolerances. • Experience in the petrochemical industry preferred. • Must be skilled fitter with verifiable experience • Must pass a written fitter test • Must maintain welding equipment, tools, and supplies in a safe working order • Must be able to perform duties with little or no supervision

Must be able to read and understand blueprints/engineering specifications. Must possess sufficient interpersonal skill to interact effectively with persons inside and outside the Company to accomplish job tasks. Must be able to maintain and process job-related paperwork effectively. Must be able to handle multiple priorities.
